Participants will learn how emerging artificial intelligence tools are improving both disease recognition and clinical communication in modern dental practice. The CE webinar will also discuss practical strategies for incorporating these tools into everyday patient conversations, strengthening preventive recommendations, and connecting professional care with effective daily home-care routines. Systematic reviews recently published by our laboratories (Temple University) indicate that the prevalence of peri-implantitis may be as high as 66%. Proper implant maintenance protocols should be initiated at implant treatment planning and reinforced with patients at each successive post operative appointment. Current strategies for implant maintenance include recognition of medical and medication risk factors impacting on bone loss around implants as well as in office maintenance procedures coupled with optimizing patient home care.
